When the Emmitsburg Historical Society recently purchased a new web site to host it online discussion forum, it came along with 400 e-mail accounts. They’re just sitting there waiting to be used. As we already paid for them, we figured we would give them away to anyone who like us, thinks its neat to have an @emmitsburg
e-mail address.

The accounts are all POP e-mail accounts, which means you can use your existing e-mail program on your computers to download and upload e-mail to them - a handy feature if you like to compose or read e-mails off line. In addition, e-mails can be read on- line using your web browser, which will allow you to access your e-mail from any internet connected computer.

For those who don’t want to go through the trouble of setting up an new account, we’ll be glad to set up your @emmitsburg.com e-mail account so it's forwarded to your current address.
